Fathers of Mars is all about guidance and encouragement. We guide aspiring fathers, soon-to-be fathers, and all-around dads. We help them forge a path for themselves and their families.

It seems in today’s world of social media there are only 2 types of fathers being represented. The “Alpha” type and the “Beta” type. As men, we’re all placed into those categories. Being a good father or man is about much more than that. The reality is most of us are somewhere in between and that’s what we’re here to talk about.

Men are taught from a young age not to show emotion. To burden themselves only with personal or family issues. We are taught to internalize and find solutions, not to reach out. Fathers of Mars is here just for that. We’re here to help each other navigate the battlefield that is fatherhood because that’s exactly what fatherhood is, a battlefield. Its never ending and you wont truly ever know if you’ve won or lost. At the end of the day whats important is you’re there for the fight.

The enemy isn’t some malicious outside force. Most of the time its ourselves. We realize that it’s not just about us and our needs anymore. It’s about being more than just present. It’s also about participating in a world of distractions. Its about setting priorities and keeping commitments. Its about finding a balance between work, family and ourselves.

While a big part of fatherhood is about realizing it’s no longer just about us, we must not forget ourselves. To be a good provider, we need to maintain our mental well-being. We also need to care for our physical well-being. Otherwise, we’ll find ourselves out of the fight.
